Juniorate

Juniorate

The sisters who pronounce their First Vows, renew it every year. For five years they are sent into different Communities for further experience in religious life and mission, and send them for higher education. Every year the junior sisters renew their vows for next year. This renewal is to let the sisters free if they wish to discontinue religious life, if they find that it is not their way of life, as they gain experience in the community living.

Soon after the first profession junior sisters go to India, Bangalore to take part in the intensive course conducted by the Generalate. This programme gives them the opportunity to deepen their sense of belongingness to the congregation. They are privileged to meet the General and her team, widen their love and loyalty for the congregation, as well as meeting their own batch mates of the different Provinces.
