A Historic Honour for Apostolic Carmel

With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, the Apostolic Carmel Family celebrates the historic appointment of Sr. Maria Nirmalini, Superior General of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation, as a Member of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (DICLSAL) by the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV.

This significant appointment is a great honour and a moment of grace for the Congregation. We thank God for this blessing and pray that He may grant Sr. Nirmalini wisdom, strength, and abundant grace as she undertakes this important mission in service of the Church and Consecrated Life.
